BEGINNER LEVEL MAT PILATES
The Beginner Mat Pilates Training Program is a 16 hour course that will lay the foundation for a career in Pilates. By the end of the training weekend, you will have the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to successfully teach a beginner-level Mat Pilates class.
COMPLETE MAT PILATES WITH PROPS
The Complete Mat Pilates Training Program is a 41-hour course covering Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Mat work. You will learn how to support students of all levels through thoughtful progressions, modifications, challenges, and the effective use of props. By the end of the training, you will have the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to successfully teach any level of Mat Pilates class.
COMPREHENSIVE APPARATUS INCLUDING COMPLETE MAT
The Classical Pilates Education Comprehensive Apparatus Program is designed to inspire and empower instructors to preserve and carry forward the original method of Joseph Pilates.Student teachers become certified to lead both private and group sessions using the full range of Classical Pilates apparatus, including Reformer, Cadillac, High Chair, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, Magic Circle, Pedipul, Mat, and more.
This program equips you with the knowledge and confidence to work with clients of all ages, genders, fitness levels, and physical conditions. Training weekends, online videos, workouts, meetings, exams, and observation all work in tandem with the CPE manual to provide a comprehensive education. Through the development of strong teaching skills and effective strategies, students grow into confident, capable Pilates instructors. CPE understands that every student’s schedule is unique, so we offer the flexibility to complete your hours in a way that fits your lifestyle. The 600-hour program is thoughtfully structured across six categories: Lecture, Observation, Self-Practice, Workouts, Practice Teaching, and Mentorship.

Yes, Classical Pilates Education is aligned with the Pilates Method Alliance as an ITTAP. The International Teacher Trainer Accreditation for Pilates (ITTAP) is a premier global accreditation for Pilates education programs, ensuring high standards in Mat, Reformer, and Comprehensive training. With a CPE certificate, you can teach anywhere!
• What are the prerequisites for CPE Teacher Training?
We do not require any pre-requisites for the Beginner Mat, however we recommend students have taken a minimum of 10 pilates mat classes. The prerequisite for the Comprehensive Apparatus training is CPE Beginner Mat!
• What if I need to miss a day of training because I'm sick or have a family/work obligation?
We discourage students from missing any of the training because it is when we present new material. However, if life gets in the way, we offer a complimentary video make up or private sessions at a discounted price.
• What is included in the CPE training fee?
Included in the fee are manuals, study videos, training weekends, meetings, testouts, observation, and a certain number of free workouts (live and virtual).
• Do you offer any discounts or payment plans?
Yes, we offer high school and college discounts, payment plans, and scholarship opportunities. Email info@classicalpilateseducation for more details.
• Is there a discount to take the CPE Program t if I am already trained to teach Pilates from another organization?
Yes, we offer previously trained teachers the opportunity to Bridge to Classical Pilates Education. The Bridge Program consists of the same training material, however the program is discounted and practice hours are abbreviated based on past experience.
• Does this Teacher Training guarantee me a job?
There are no guarantees, however, if you perform impressively, professionally, and responsibly in the program, you will be given the opportunity to interview and audition for a position at your training studio.
• What is the refund/cancellation policy?
After the program begins, there are no refunds and students are obligated to complete the payment plan. If you are unable to complete the program, you may transfer into a future program with no penalty.
